I had some fun!!! :)

I had some fun on the way to Sainsburys today. Not been on the bike for a week or so now, so did a loop around the ring road and went a different way into the city centre, which I found on Google street view on my new phone .

The road wasn't really that long, but had a couple nice stretches where I could do about 20 to 30mph around some nice bends

(ps: Thanks to the guy behind me who just waited on the short straight stretches, without even thinking about trying to get past !)

thomas, this is the toilet scene in Trainspotting (I mentioned on youtube), its in Spanish but I don't think it matters. You've really got to watch it in the context of the whole film though ;-)

and even I can keep up with the cars on the recumbent

It was good because I could go at a reasonable pace along some lovely bends...I just had some fun going down

I can get into nice lanes within about 10 minutes from my house. Obviously, much nicer to cycle along without having to worry about lots of drivers.

I do like a bit of traffic now and then though. Lanes are great with a club or for an afternoon meander, but part of me does like shooting past cars at a few mph over the 30 limit down some of the hills on the ring road
