I've just had the Bailiff around to collect £750 in unpaid council tax.

I have paid it in full but they have no record of it.

Fortunately I do and there is now one vary annoyed balliff with his ears ringing a bit

Imagine if I'd been a vulnerable person

I think Blaby District Council need an invoice for your time and labour in proving said bill has been paid.
A cheque to your favourite charity would of course be better for the Press Release

Should they elect not to pay you, then of course there is the CCJ, and see if you can get hold of the same Bailiff (even better for the following Press Release)
