Been sorting the gears and brakes out on my commuter this week, giving it a good clean and lube and after 3 days of enjoying cycling in the sun, I didn't fancy the bike and me getting soaked today so I bussed it.

I'm calling it a rest day!

I've been on the regular commuter for the last couple of days cause its fully mud guarded, must say I found the rain yesterday quite refreshing in this tropical weather. Temperature dropped today to a more comfortable temperature for me. I prefer it like this, when it 26 degrees it drains me day in day out.

Got caught in it last night, yep bike is a mess, but I actually enjoy riding in the summer rain. Nice warm feeling on toes when you go thru puddles, steam rising from country lanes, clean nice smelling air, all very pleasant.

It's a mind thing ;-)

I go up and down the GBW track and in the rain I get more grit than the road which I find strange but at least its car free !
