a fair weather cyclist!
You know the one, only see him out when the suns shining, humming the tune from the start of ITV4's tour de france program as he bimbles along at 14 mph looking like he's exceeding the safe working load for the lycra he's wearing and making women and children scream and turn away from the body that can only have been poured into those shorts (overfilled!)
Well, last night I had planned to ride but it rained, for the first time ever I just thought sod it and went anyway.
And I thoroughly enjoyed it*
I THINK I'VE TURNED INTO ONE OF THEM PROPER LYCRA BIKEY WEIRDO'S

*the term "thoroughly enjoyed it" refers to all parts of the ride other than the point when I got off the bike and realised that rain water thrown up by the backwheel had made it's way back down my crevice of doom and swamped my cobblers. In my opinion sweetbreads should not be oversoaked in cold water for any length of time so recommendations for mudguards are welcome.
