for some reason since a kid i have wanted a Peugoet racer with reynolds 531 tubing so i picked this up today , by now meens mint but nice enough with some patina thrown in for good measure .

hubs are large flanged Maillards fr & rr both look to be dated 78 , which ties in with 1979 model bike .

bars do look big must admit but in the skin feel fine and they look to be original items

no only double but fr changer not cabled yet so using inner till i get tools out

I once threw one of those in a skip. Metallic burgundy, had it since I was about 8 and really always wanted a BMX, I used ot to topur a bit then got bored with it and so it sat in my dads barn till I moved out , then it sat in my garage loft till I tipped it about 10 years ago.

I really wish I hadn't nowdays.
