I even met AlanW, he was tucking into a flippin picnic with his family (I assume they were his family) how cool is that before a track session? We were all queueing for the bog

Just got back home! Bloody battery problems with the coach.....long story!

Anyway, good to meet you Maggot, and yes it was my family and yes it was a full blown picnic. The only thing missing was the "throw away" BBQ.

Great session, and I was surprised at how well I rode considering the 20 year gap since the last time!

No problems in our group apart from me nearly coming off at speed on the banking. I got a bit to close to the wheel in front coz he suddenly slowed down. So I swerved to the left (like a fool!) down onto the nice painted floor. But the rear wheel then skidded out to the left as I tried to get back up onto the boards, then the bugger gripped and I consequently shot back up the banking again.

Great fun though, I must do more.

In fact we have already booked another session for April 3rd for the whole afternoon again.

Trouble is, I want my own track bike now.
