We've managed to miss this weekend's snowfall (so far), but it is just horrendously, horribly cold and windy. I bet it's even worse nearer to the coast, so you have my sympathy!

Snow is never an issue as the sea air melts it but the wind.... Its like standing on top of a skyscraper in a hurricane.

Been out along the coast on the bike today, it was great fun trying to stay upright with sidewinds up to 50 mph. Had to keep reminding myself that we do this for enjoyment!

That was like my ride! I kept pressing on into the wind, with my face hurting from the cold and feeling totally miserable, and then I suddenly thought 'What the hell am I doing?' and took a shortcut home.
