... and he apologised and gave me a pat on the back! :bravo:

In all fairness, I was very polite and there was no hint of an adrenaline fueled rant
Hopefully he'll give all cyclists more room when overtaking in future.:highfive:

Many incidents such as these were discussed in the days before portable sports video cameras (actually not that long ago), so I don't see a video as being essential to the discussion. Perhaps the OP can just paint us a picture with words ^_^. It's nice to hear that some motorists can have a reasoned discussion, even a friendly one. I wish I had a few of those where I commute.

Yes, we will need a video for this to really have some punch. If possible in HD. And 3D. And it's always best if you can to have your ride videos directed by a proper director. They will be able to provide lighting tips and perhaps introduce some coherent narrative that will tie the whole thing together. And please please please do not forget the impact a well thought out score can have on the viewer. Idealy you want something that emphasises and enhances the piece but does not overshadow it.
It's the way serious "cammers" are going these days. Many have done away with the strap on and instead hire a mobile crew to follow ad document each commute. Some are even taking two or even three crews to catch the journey from more angles and then piece together something truly remarkable in the editing suite.
I hope this advice is invaluable to you and that you are honestly grateful for it.

Don't forget an American scriptwriter who will be able to weave in the sub plot showing how the Americans won the war against bad drivers for us.
