I don't mean on bikes, I mean Google's new browser. I put off trying it for a long time, not least 'cos it doesn't have an old-style toolbar along the top [File...Edit...Tool, all that], but after I reinstalled Windows recently I decided I'd give it a go, and now I'm a believer. Less clutter, more screen, good functionality and I'm even finding it pretty intuitive. And it's probably my fevered imagination, but it does at least feel like it's faster. Anyone like/dislike it/any other browser?

They all have their faults and flaws but I do like Chrome.

Chrome - it was a meeting where Chrome got better and less prone to crashing and me getting used to how things work.

I used IE for browsing the other day just to see how it went - wow it was crap!

Firefox on desktop, Iceweasel (Firefox derivative) on netbook, Opera on smartphone. All OSs are linux flavours (Mint, CrunchBang & CyanogenMod).

I've tried Chrome (it's still installed on my desktop) and quite like it for some things, but it does irk me a little sometimes. I think, but maybe I'm wrong, it's too tied in to Google products generally. I'm increasingly seeing Google as the new MS.

I do like Opera though. Its speed on my smartphone makes it a 'no contest' decision (even though I've encountered a couple of web pages that it refuses to display!). If it wasn't so 'cute' (i.e. branded 'my little pony' like) then I'd probably stick with it.

I like Firefox mainly for its add-ons. These, for me, make it my preferred browser.

Chrome's fine until you find out that every new browser tab is a separate Chrome process in RAM. I used it for a while until I found that it becomes almost non-responsive if you have multiple tabs open for a while. Overall, I prefer Firefox.

I use IE on main computer and on lap top, but I just tried Chrome on my tablet and works very good

I've been using Chrome more or less since it was first released over here, and I would never go back to IE like I had before. The more Chrome develops, the better it gets IMHO

Firefox. I've used it since it came out and have always found it excellent.

Opera on my Android phone.

Tried Chrome. Works OK on one or two tabs but more and it's like a snail and takes the computer with it. That's the case on a Windows and an Ubuntu Linux machine.

Don't like IE.

Do like to have the menu bar at the top - fastest and most efficient way to handle common tasks even if it is the oldest.

I use Firefox but I find that Chrome is faster.Unfortunately, my Wi-Fi internet connection disconnects after i've been using Chrome for a few minutes so i've switched to Firefox, which gives me no such problem.
