I like Pot Noodles

Even when on offer, Pot Noodles are an overpriced gimmick... give me something like this any day....

(not to be confused with Batcheler's 'super' noodles, which are also sh!te)

I had totally forgotten about these. 3 for a £1 :-) I am partial to pot noodles, I don't think there is a food I don't like.

I take them to work now and again for lunch, if you have a look they are quite well balanced now (fat, carbs and protein).

King noodle pots come in around 500kcal so not a bad meal all round really!.

Fang Bian Mian or "convenience noodles" are incredibly popular in China. They are practically identical to Pot Noodles as far as my tastebuds can discern. If you go into any petrol station or take a train somewhere, it is the snack of choice. They even do the same type of hot sauce sachets which you can add if you wish

You get little plastic fork which is taped to the side of the carton which I don't think you get with Pot Noodles.

Anyway, as a once a year thing they're great. Except I can never leave the noodles to cook in the hot water long enough cos it smells delicious

I have never had one and don't plan to start any day soon. The same goes for Peperami. My diet is generally dreadful, but even I have limits.

Great lunch choice once in a while, more satisfying than soup IMO. I favour the chow mein or the curry (which is technically pot rice)
