I love my wife

As some of you may be aware, my wife has expressed an interest in cycling. So this is a good chance to practice my mechanical skills and build her a road bike. I started with this:

Back from the powder coaters and with headset, fork and groupset:

Great, isn't it? I was hoping to avoid any black components and just have purple and silver, with brown saddle and bar tape, but I've had to compromise in places. Could've got the fork painted but the naked carbon adds a bit of bling anyway.

Stem will be replaced with silver Ritchey Classic to match seatpost and bars once we've decided on size.

It is beautiful. My bike is all black. I like black, but that is a stunning colour. Me likey very much.
