looking good! love the colour, not too sure i like the pink lever hoods personally ut if you/she likes them then all is good
Cheers Ed
They're more of a purple really. The powder coat job did come out a bit more of a magenta rather than the purple we were expecting but we still really like it

Lovely job there.
If your wife goes off you, I'll marry you ^_^

I daren't "like" that message...

Very nice, let's hope she uses it...

Well we're the same size, so if she doesn't, I will!

A bit of work tonight, took the chainset off to sort out the bottom bracket and reattached it properly ('twas only on loosely for show). Steerer still needs cutting but will probably wait until we've sorted out sizing. Star fangled nuts are a bugger, aren't they?

Well here it is ready to ride. It's a bit of a pity that the bar tape, saddle and chainstay protector don't exactly match but you've got Charge to blame for that. I've also got a nagging feeling that seatclamp should be black CF to match the headset but I'm weird like that. Stem and steerer still to be sorted out but we'll wait and see what sizing we need.

Anyone who's wondering, it's a PX prototype alloy frame, Kinesis GF fork, Campagnolo Athena 11sp groupset, Miche hubs / Ambrosio rims off a Bianchi VN7 and mainly Ritchey classic finishing kit.

What could be a more romantic gift?

Right, I'm off to take it for a test ride .

Many people are colour blind but don't realise it. The most common being blue /green.

Nice job and yes Star Nuts are a bugger...lol
I disliked them so much i replaced them with something much easier and better imo

This is an expander bung (Deda Elementi) available from lots of decent bike shops for under a tenner :-)

+1 this. M-Part do something quite similar too, the SFN has always seemed like a rubbish idea
I'll look into those for when I cut down the steerer
