Yet again you are trusting someone I a shop who has an opinion different to the rest of the world, has never seen you and does not know your fit. On the other hand you have sat on a 58 and found it fine, so how come a 60 is now too small?

A Cube 60 is perfect for me at 6'4", so I doubt it will be too small for you at 6'1". Just buy the damn thing and get out and ride.

See above...ref cracked frames, not being replaced under warranty...except that is for the one quoted about as a prime example...which was indeed replaced under warranty

Apparently the issue still hasn't been resolved

I found the 58cm Peloton i tried on Friday to be a good size. Why they keep saying no it'll be too small i don't know? I thought a 60cm would be met with a yes it's the right size, but no,it's not happening! Even the 4 year old thread about Cube sizing i linked,had posters at around my height saying a 58cm is fine for them, but then someone'll say no it's too small and put me off.

Have you looked up the geometry for the bike to see if it is really different from other makes, size for size?

Er no, geometry wasn't my strong point at school. Plus when they show the geometry charts the letters and numbers are so small i can't see the things.

My friend is 6ft 1 and rides a 58cm Cube peloton.

I tested a specialized Allez one upon a time. The guy told me that the 58cm suited me better, I say this, as I felt much better on the 56cm and at 6ft 1, have always felt better on 56cm bikes. Now I understand that cube bikes do come up smaller. However, if the 58cm feels better to you, it probably will be. I personally wouldn't buy a bike because someone said I looked better on a bike that didn't feel comfortable to me.

I'd say someone at 6ft 1 would be at the lower limit for a (proper, not cube) 58cm bike, dependant on the geometry.

Anyway, please buy one.

That was an example of many which have cracked.Not just warranty issues.The issue was not about warranty's,but cracked frames.And I found one on this very site

And my fulcrum 7's are approaching 4 years old with no issues.

It looks nice,especially the pink one.,but Vickster reckons the gearing isn't too great for hill climbing. Also you have to consider there are 4 colours(where's the orange one gone?). Meaning how long will it take me to decide which colour to choose.

However, you seem to want a triple, thus need Shimano not SRAM...which you can find on that lovely Sabbath Aspire Ti from Spa
