Some Classics will do video, some won't. Depends on which generation it is.
My wife has claimed the 7th generation ('thin') one and wouldn't let me take it to work so I recently bought myself another(a sixth generation 'thick' version).
Apple stopped making Classics citing technical difficulties.
My 'new' one has a seller upgraded new battery and the hard drive has been replaced with a 128Gb flash card, so battery life is better too.. Recognised in iTunes no bother. £145. Can't see that Apple were trying very hard.
