Check bottom bracket compatibility, mounting for the mechs, you'll likely need new cables too as well as bar tape, a new chain, possibly a cassette. Did you remember to get the forks too

Both bikes have 68mm BSA. Cables I will need as I have long, long, outers atm, as they're internal cables.

Bar tape will need replacing, as it will need to match the new frame colour

Chain I will replace anyway for the sake of the price, cassette will be fine as it only has around 120miles on it.

I'm currently 85kg, so hopefully no issues there.

I am currently 86kg Phil & have both a full carbon & an Aluminium/Carbon forks.

There are no worries with anyone under 100 kg.

Another benefit is that the 105 front caliper that won't fit on the Norco will fit on this.

So I guess it makes sense, then I can use a decent brake

I currently ride a 58cm frame, The effective top tube length of the PX and my Norco are within about 7mm, so a slightly longer stem on the PX should compensate.

The planet X just seems a bit shorter in height, but similar in length for the Large frame, which I think is what I will go for. It is also Planet X's suggested size for my height, fitting right in the centre of it.

I've got a Planet X in medium, I'm only 5' 5'' and had to put a longer stem on as I felt too upright, even though the PX sizing recommended a small frame for me..... and if you look at the picture above the seat is not sitting on the top tube.....
