You mean the flat cap. Yes, it does take a minute or so to adjust to the correct, slightly rakish angle.![]()
But first I have to decide whether to wear the parrot plumes or game bird feathers in it.

Same here, except mine is tucked away in the kitchen so I have to wheel/carry it thru front roomTo use my bike I:
1) Go to hall
2) Pick up bike
3) Open front door
4) Walk outside
5) Close front door
6) Cycle off.

And do you lock your bike outside whilst you go back in and close all those gates again ?

Bikes are kept in my bedroom.....to use them:
Down two flights of stairs
I'm the same except I have to do the 'Brompton unfold' before cycling off.
Now that would be the thing to have the 'blipper' for!![]()
To use my car.... oh yes... I don't drive![]()
To use car:
1) Try to persuade wife to let me use the car
2) Repeat steps 1-4 above
looks very much like a car central locking key3 keys - one lighted with high intensity bulb & replaceable battery

Something like this automatic door opener might help, you could use the bike bell to activate it, though that does mean fitting a bell to your bike.
