I see that even the lunatic intrepid test pilot in the photo wasn't stupid enough to take his left hand off the conventional grip.

He's not even riding the thing either, clearly keeping it upright when stood alongside is challenge enough.

I've been trying to work out what the problem was that the inventor was trying to correct. Still can't come up with an answer

I think that the question was "Please help me - How can I increase the chances of crashing my bike, and severely damaging my genitals?"

To be fair, this is a question that many of us have wanted answers to. It was a stroke of genius to come up with such a simple, affordable solution to an age-old problem!
