Totally agree - I like your style! Wateraid! How refreshing to not be wasting it.

Well, I got one nomination today and one yesterday.

I am not partaking on the grounds that....

1- I'm a miserable git

2- it's a waste of water

3-these viral inter web things get on my nerves!

Instead I've donated £15 to Wateraid. Not sure I'll change the world, but I thought it would be a nice way to do a dirty protest!

Pouring a bucket of water over the wife's head this afternoon was highly amusing....though now I come to think of it I should just check she was doing the ALS challenge!

I thought it was only for celebs.
At one end of The Cool is Patrick Stewart and at the other end is Sarah Palin - search them out see if you agree.

2- it's a waste of water
Waste water? Did you miss the day at school where they explained how rain works?

As for the newsreader, from the ALS website:
"As of Monday, August 25, The ALS Association has received $79.7 million in donations compared to $2.5 million during the same time period last year (July 29 to August 25)."

Is it not a waste? Could it be put to a better use? Doesn't matter either way I suppose.
