@DRM, We have had the Swedish Rhapsody and also The Liberty Bell (AKA the Monty Python tune) over the years, but now we have a van that comes round and, you know what? I cannot even remember what it plays, I've heard it so often that I it's just occasional background noise. 😊

No imagination from our local ice cream vans, it's " Oh we do like to be beside the seaside " but I suppose as we're a seaside town that's understandable. My ringtone is the Captain Pugwash theme, that would work well as an ice cream van chime

True, it should be pretty suitable - although for some reason you don't often see loads of codgers and biddies piling out of bungalows on their zimmers when they hear the ice cream van roll up.

Our local ice cream van seems to be playing ‘ happy birthday ‘ today . Seems an odd choice. 😀

I've just heard it again... Our local van's current tune is The Blue Danube.
