ICE Full Fat recumbent fat trike

The ICE Full Fat is a radical new trike with real off-road credentials. Rock, mud, sand, snow, rooty trails and gnarly track, the ICE Full Fat is built to tackle it all.

The ICE Full Fat FS evolved from an ICE custom-made trike, which was ridden across Antarctica to the South Pole in December 2013. Elements of the original, like the heat-treated 4130 chromoly frame and oversized rims and tyres have been combined with components suited to tackle a range of off-road conditions. On this version they include a Rohloff XL 14-speed gear hub, Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, and suspension front and rear. The C.F.T. hinge allows the trike to be folded for easier transportation to the trail.

True to its custom-build roots, each ICE Full Fat trike will be made to order at the ICE factory in England. This gives enthusiasts the option to customise parts and components, ensuring the best combination for their riding style.

The ICE Full Fat is an expedition-tough trike, for wherever you want to ride.

It looks great but I had trouble making my ICE trice move at a good speed, especially uphill. This trike would be a nightmare uphill I would imagine.

I have ridden teh Arctic Trike and it is a lot nimbler than you would expect.

However it is slow and cumbersome compared to others.

I suspect though in the US with the long downhill fire trails and the likes it will be a big seller
