Ice spike tyres

Did the same a few weeks ago, will sent me some
Fitted 3 in about 25 minutes, then gave up

why? are they difficult to fit

Will said "These can be fitted using a set of mole grips and some patience fairly easily"

I could've done with a toffee hammer mounted to the bars this morning to keep breaking the ice on my eyeballs this morning...

I found shutting my eyes for a few seconds helped bloody good job I was off road this morning.

Oh and took great pleasure zooming over a large (10ft) frozen puddle this morning, just because I could.

Done about 300 miles on mine since mid-December.
No studs lost so far but the roads around here are pretty good, particularly if you know where all the potholes are and can plan a smooth route around them.

After having said the above, I've managed to lose 2 studs in the last 20 miles cycled. And another one is working its way out.
