Several years ago I experimented with different seating positions and had some measurements done on my femurs etc and it was determined that an 'inline' seatpost would suit me. This worked very well.
More recently (for the last 12 months), I have been getting shoulder pain. One thing I'd like to try is shifting my weight further back and reducing stress on my arms. To do this I'd like to try a 'normal' seatpost again (setback about 25mm). I could go out and spend £30 on a new one but it's quite possible that it'll make no difference to my shoulder pain and put me in a worse position for cycling so money wasted. On the other hand, it could solve my shoulder problem which is my main concern right now, even if that means riding in a less optimal position.
Any post will do. Needs some layback to it (typically 25mm) must be 31.6 to fit my frame. Also about 280+mm in length.
Postage is probably about £3 - I can paypal you £3 if necessary. I would return it after a few weeks, as if it works I'd go out and buy one!
Cheers
