another vote for an experience day. alternatively a bottle of posh booze, if that's his kind of thing?

you didn't give us a budget

I dont really have a budget.
I have now started looking at experience days eg balloon flights (as suggested) and helicopter flights.
Helicopter flights are more local but only last 15 minutes.....balloon flight last 3+ hours but further away.

For one of my birthdays, was given a "sock subscription". A posh pair of socks on the day and then a pair every month for a few months.

Another birthday, I was given a driving experience at Brands Hatch. Hated it, the controls on these super cars are so different, couldn't get used to them on a single day.

Once a Wheeler

Get him a real sweater at Coogi's.

60 is just the right time to tell the world who you are.

For my 50th, my mother bought me 50 bottles of beer. For my 60th, she bought me 60 spliffs.

A guy at a men's shed came along and made a 50p shaped box with 50 50p inlaid into it for his sons 50th birthday it looked amazing! He was worried his son would peel the £25 off it and spend it! 🤣

my daughter is one for buying presents but when you have more than enough cycling clothing, aftershave, single malts, silk pocket squares and scarves. There is not much to get you.
So she bought us tickets to go see Echo and the Bunnymen and the icing on the cake was my 11 year old grandson came with us.
I will remember this for a lot longer than the other things.
