The pic shows a trike that i recently purchased as a renovation project. Since buying it I have tried to get any info about the origonal condition but have drawn a complete blank. Its frame name is CITIBIKE and it was an electricity driven beast. Any sites/manufacturer info appreciated. I have already posted on the 'specialist interest trike and recumbant' section without success. This is a folder !

I know nothing of the bikes, but can google a few little bits for you...

There's a post on google groups that says 'CITIBIKE Tel. 01255 852211', a Clacton number and implies they have brochures etc. https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/uk.rec.cycling/Lv5R3VG7ov8

Dunno if that's any help, but I had a few minutes otherwise watching a progress bar. ;)

I think this looks great fun, so I have agreed to buy it to have a pop at doing it up for my non-bike riding father in law to have a go on.

If he doesn't like it (and the chances are reasonably high) then I'll modify it by putting a create holding framework on the back so my wife can us it as an allotment bike"

Good stuff Andrew, glad y'avin fun with it. Alas when I came back indoors from seeing you, my computer had gone bang, I'm just round my sons this evening so had a quick borrow of his, but dont expect to see me on the forum as I fear its my hard drive that has packed up on me, its only 5 months old, but my experience of these claims under warranty are always lengthy drawn out things. I look forward to seeing how you get on with it towards the spring, excercise or carthorse, time will tell ! Cheers f'now Nick

You don't have to stick with electrics...
