Hello,

My wife's bike freehub is playing up. I've taken it off (and now have a new 11mm hex key!), But bought the wrong replacement part.

I can find a couple that look similar, (have the screw thread), but would like a little more certainty than mathching the outline! Does anyone have any suggestions how I can identify the part I need, please? Are ones with the similar shape likely to be all the same, different? No markings on it at all that I can see.

I found a video.showing opening a similar one -will hunt for a tool now!

It's from a specialised Globe, maybe 2010.

Thanks
James

Chances of picking up a freehub for a 2010 bike even if you could identify it are slim to non existant.
Have you tried to 'service' it ?
Might be as well to bite the bullet and get a new hub, although 32h might be hard to find, or get a wheel either new or S/H off eBay as wheel building costs would probably come out about the same.
