Did see a bloke shaving whilst driving the other day  (with an electric razer I hasten to add). Dont think he quite heard what I shouted at him, :cursing:but he did look a little guilty. Carried on though :headshake:

As long as I breathe, I attack.
This morning I had to take GF into Burton Hospital. On the way to work I spotted an idiot here.

Welcome to my neck of the woods :hello: , and no it was not me

I commute from Newhall to the A38/A 50 roundabout for Toyota and i normally use the cross country route via Bretby and Repton rather than take this road then use the cycle path up the A 38.I have had so many close passes on that stretch of road , including a lorry driver who pulled up and jumped out and chased me up the road when i shouted OI !! after a very very close overtake .
If some one is playing with a phone on that road then they are either ...

Brave:- Know the risks and want to live a little
Stupid:-blind to the obvious

Either way they are going to be street pizza soon enough , i do not want to be the police person who has to tell their family why they died as its not nice no matter how stupid they are acting.

I see that fairly regularly- I'd never seen it before, then I spotted one and then I kept seeing them. I could save a bit of time in the morning by doing the same thing, but I prefer a wet shave myself- I'd need a bidon full of hot water and I'd need a brush holder on the bars. Foam in a can would be easier, but I reckon that's cheating.

Me too, but just imagine the slashed face look with all those potholes everwhere..... (not to mention getting round the helmet strap )

I used to be able to ride no-hands when I was younger.

I can't now.

I reckon it's because the road surfaces have got worse ......
I once could (40 years ago) and now find that I can't. I put it down to confidence. Either that or bike geometries have changed to prevent it (seems unlikely).

Last year we were driving up the M1 to my dad's. I was in the middle lane overtaking when a car drove past. The woman driver was going at least 80 and applying makeup. A little later we caught up with her. She was now wandering from the outside to the middle lane and back and had slowed down to about 65 and was holding up traffic. When it was safe I went past as I didn't feel safe with her in front of me. The GF noticed she was now aplying mascara and she was leaning across to the rear view mirror to do a better job  . I don't like breaking the speed limit  but I made sure I got ahead of her keeping an eye on the mirror in case she speeded up again  .

You're all amateurs!

Why, this very morning I cycled home from work whilst asleep and performed a rectal examination of a passing angry bull...
