If someone famous came a knocking i'd like to take them down my local pub to show them off. Imagine my friends faces when i walked through the front door with a famous actor,politician or sports personality!:ohmy: How do you know him/her/! they'd ask. Oh he's just an old friend,i'd casually say,like it's no big deal. Knowing my luck though we'd walk in and there'd be no one in the place!!:cry:

Ha! Would I prefer to meet the younger man—the barefoot wandering poet and philosopher, or the older, devoutly religious recovering addict who annotated and revised his works in a way that not everyone thinks improves them?

There are so many people i would be delighted to have visit me. Pontius pilot. King john. Leonardo da vinci. Sir Isscac Newton. Wyatt Earp. I'd rather have a time machine then i could see loads of people and experience the real world as it was, good or bad. :laugh:
