hi btfb,my road bikes are aluminium bianchi good bike, and look kx light all carbon in white super bike rides like a dream,but having said that theres not much point in buying a expensive carbon bike unless there's the top of the range groopset on it be it shimano dura ace or campag chorus or sram red.then theres the wheels i reckon if you go for the trek armstrong rode in the 2003tour cant think of the model fantastic frame (5500)guess?
