I live in Swindon, a place famous for having roads bumpier than the surface of the moon (and roundabouts)! It's no wonder I see so many people on mountain bikes here. Far more practical.
While we're on roundabouts - and a number of CC threads do seem to go around in circles - I remember seeing Milton Keynes roundabouts in search of sponsors and now the Rotherhithe roundabout at the south end of the tunnel has got itself sponsored by a local undertakers. Undertaking is the last thing you need when you're on that roundabout. Anyway, do Swindonians have sponsored roundabouts too?
In Normal, ours appears to be sponsored by Santa Claus. He has a little log house on the south side of the roundabout by the railroad station and Children's Discovery Museum. It's no Swindon, but will suffice.
