My son was on the phone recently when he decided he need to go to the loo ... he didn't see the problem of taking the phone in and continuing chatting

I generally go with webcomics/blogs on my phone
Precisely, with 3 (soon to be 4) kids, an extended mini vacation in the loo is the only peaceful part of my day!
I think my mental block may extend to all electronic goods as I tried my sons Nintendo DS yesterday afternoon "bit of brain training on the bog" I thought, but no! It just felt wrong, so I put it down and spent 20 mins thumbing through the Arroword book.

You need to be careful with a laptop, they can get hot & if you rest it on bare legs
The answer to the problem is an ipad. Works for me
Only down side is that you can't post on cycle chat with an ipad, as is doesn't seem to work when you want to type something in the text box.
Could we have a fix for that

I do like a quiet environment, but spending 24 years living in flats and houses without other people or even pets around can sometimes seem a bit, er ... quiet!theres such a thing as too quiet?
