Damn, "red traffic light lights, TV licences, not killing people, not stealing bikes I do" such a bad comparison. Who on this free earth decides what man can and can't do or what is right and wrong? how could you compare stopping at a traffic light to stealing and killing? or compare a TV license to killing? LOLNo I do because I live in a society that has some rules, and generally I follow them. So red traffic light lights, TV licences, not killing people, not stealing bikes I do, not because I'm scared but because they are the rules! But then I'm the sort of person that in a referendum a number of years ago where we voted on whether we wanted the council tax to go down (with loss of services), stay the same or go up (improved services), I voted to put them up (most didn't).
I've noticed you're very rude to members here (including myself in the past). Insulting people should be something you might want to stop doing. It would have been easier for me to reply if you'd tagged me properly you blethering southern ponce.
It's not surprising that you like the BBC as it caters for your twee middle-class southerness.

Your point is what exactly? I said you don't see many countries incorporating the license and you give me a list of countries in a continent that do... give me a full list and we'll compare the percentages of countries that do and don't incorporate the licence. If you read the post properly sonny, I did say Europe.![]()
Quite right - he's a very rude man. And Scottish.I've noticed you're very rude to members here (including myself in the past). Insulting people should be something you might want to stop doing.
Well, stop interrupting another man's conversation. I've never spoken to you, so why are you alone making yourself apart of our talk? What was that you were saying about being 'very rude' to other members?

"I would say" nice opinion. I'll respect it. It's a bit like saying "well, I'd say that glass is half empty George... no, it's definitely half full". Two different opinions. Now, good dayI would say that half of Europes countries that do have a license fee is far more then 'you don't see many'.
