I reckon there's about 60 rolls in the house, again due to not entirely understanding how 'Lists' work when on-line shopping.

Imminent collapse of the economy and as a consequence society?

Pfft. Come at me bro!
There was an instance of this at Bond Street SAAB in Leicester, rear bumper for a 900 cabriolet. The stores manager ordered 1 then the bodyshop guy said get 2 and keep 1 in stock.
21 duly arrived..........................from Sweden................................no-one questioned it.

Come to think of it, there really is a down side to online newspapers.
Yes you can't light your fire with them either. I had to buy firelighters the other day. I cried but he still wouldn't reduce the price. Will be going to Manchester soon will stock up with the free metro newspapers.

I have enough puncture repair kits, tubes and tyres to last a few years. I will be able to get on my bike and get the new economy going by repairing other peoples bikes and be the new British oligarchy in no time whatsoever.:bicycle:
You won't get sod all from me I have 2 Rohloff equipped bikes.

I managed to over-order massively on tins of tomatoes, baked, kidney and butter beans as well as chick peas on my latest online shop. With careful rationing I should be able to get by for some time.
We have a preper! Nothing wrong with that but don't get to paranoid or you will end up like

  • What will we all do?
  • How will we get by?
  • Who will be the world power?
I must say that the economic world as we no it i well and truly over, everything is bankrupt and all the banks are doing is trying to get us into as much debt as possible,so that the rich few can take control of our assets thus have control over you and I.
The world economy has got over worse, there is no logic in thinking it won't get over this. I bet you haven't even stocked up like AndyRM. I would worry about getting over a natural disaster instead of a banking crisis.
The banks have still got to deal with the miss selling of interest rates swaps to small businesses. In this case were not just talking about losses plus 8% interest. We are also talking about businesses going bankrupt and wanting appropriate compensation. As you can guess the worse ones are RBS and Lloyd's.... surprise surprise!

I read on tinternet ( so must be true) that it is inevitable that capitalism will implode one day , just a matter of time and globalisation .

How long have they been saying that? The fact that they don't give a date means they can never be wrong.
When did capitalism start? As soon as we moved from hunter gathers to farming? Although some would say that if hunter gathers traded then that was capitalism.
Not sure why globalisation would result in the demise of capitalism.
