I swallowed a fly yesterday. Had to wash it down with a glug of water as it was fighting back and I was coughing my head off. I do hope that I won't suddenly balloon up and look like a blimp I'm sure that fly was bigger than an average sized spider too.

Well it does, I suppose, but it makes a hell of a mess. Waste of a cream bun IMO. If I am ever attacked by a cream bun, I find that biting works! Sorts it out in no time.

Mrs Vernon was bitten by a spider two days ago. She's the first person that I know who has been bitten by a native species spider.
