Keep the evidence and watch your bank statements. I cancelled my Cycling Plus subscription which is managed by "future publishing" in January. They just took another 6 months subscription and tried to tell me on the phone I hadnt cancelled it until well into Feb which was too late.
Luckilly the wonderful Mrs Banjo kept the letter from them dated 21/01 2012 confirming it was cancelled .As soon as I quoted the letter and its date I received an apology and promise to refund ASAP.
Next stop the Bank as I had also popped in and told them not to pay any future direct debits so they failed as well.
