What would it be - what would you do if you wanted a big departure.

Would it be the Levi Roots Reggae, Reggae sauce type thing (or is that 'ting' ), or a widget for the cycle to change gear more smoothly, or a variation on carbon seatposts to offer more compliance ?

What is your big idea and would you pitch it at the Dragons ?

Give them a delicious smoothy and then tell them "Now what I'm selling here is not smoothies, but antidote..."

Apologies to whomever I nicked this idea from...

Never thought of anything, but one idea like this that I love is the plastic stick thing that chucks a tennis ball for the hound to chase. Throws it further, you don't have to bend down to pick it up, and you don't get drool all over your hands. Brilliant! Just a few pence worth of moulded plastic and a great idea.

A jersey pocket sized waterproof wallet for outdoorsy types, to protect your cash, keys and cellphone. To my knowledge nobody makes one - prove me wrong!

It would have to be an inflatable or fold up fridge, running of 12v, using a small peltier cooler, and water you add to the re-circulating cooling system. Aimed at small sports car drivers and motorcyclists, the sales pitch is easy, the two groups love camping, getting pissed on cold beer at the campsite, love bacon rolls in the morning and hate food poisoning, but neither groups have room for a full size cool box when travelling, I would also make one to run of rechargeables, or even a solar panel for backpackering and cycle camping.

Packaging that shrinks as you use the contents. Imagine eating 15 litres of ice cream from a 16 litre tub; the pakaging would shrink so that it held just one litre and freed up a lot of space in the freezer. The person who invents shrinking packaging is going to make a fortune.

Use a zippy bag.

I was going to say that.

Of course, if you decant stuff into one, that also solves the packaging issue, you just fold it round as it empties....
