I have deleted my post so you can do.

Oh, sweetie, you shouldn't have....

Everyone! Alan got there first!

I thought of somehing the other day - a sort of vertical treadmill climbing wall, so you could keep climbing and climbing, but only need a 'wall' about 7 or 8 feet tall.

Apparently, it's been done...

The devil is in the detail.

A good idea is nothing without the resolve to carry it forward.

I think what I'm asking is do you have possession of individual train of thought in sufficient capacity to come up with a new idea and carry it forward into a functional gadget, or a viable business plan.

Here is something.

25 years ago I had a fairly serious m/cycle accident which resulted in a fairly serious lifelong injury (break).

Whilst convalescing (sp) I had an idea for a garment using silly putty in the panels as it is malleable to mould arund the user but doesn't like moving quickly (hence you can bounce it like a powerball).

It came to nothing because I didn't have the nouse at 18 to develop it, but a canadain company started marketting clothing with this in a few years ago, and even more cleverly, some geezer got backing on dragons den a few weeks ago for laptop bags and phone cases with the same technology.

An opportunity lost - you bet, but I do now know what the active ingredients are in this substance to give it the qualities;)

A toothbrush where one disposes of the head only and not the whole thing.

And it has to be incredibly lightweight to save me drilling holes in it for touring.

I'm thinking the manually driven type!

Say a titanium body with plastic/ carbon head?

Why not a toothbrush that consists of a head only? You could fit it to the end of your index finger and use that as the handle.

They kind of exist (Oral B brush-ups, use once and chuck, so not exactly what you had in mind)

And they exist for pets too (see pic)... guess a person could use one if you find yourself with dog-breath one morning!
