Fish here tonight as well, though the herrings stayed in the fridge.

Ended up having mini crayfish cocktails with tomato & chilli salsa, tempura king prawns and salmon & watercress tarts followed by fruit (fresh & dried) baked in spiced red wine, finishing off with tea and gingerbread.

In the States and perhaps other places, Chinese Food is the Christmas tradition for many Jews. A fun factoid that is certainly not well known by many in the USA and I expect outside of it either.
