I know. A nice sensible name that will work well at all stages of my life. But Anastasia? Being named after a Russian princess who potentially escaped assassination at the hands of the Trotskyites who ends up living in Paris written off as a nutcase? Shortens to Stacey when I'm a teenager and Anna when I'm being grown up. WHAT a name!

I have a friend called Anastasia but she's Greek. Cracking name - cracking woman.
