In that case he/she should have braked and pulled in behind the cyclist before turning.
I don't think you can really tell how 'drastic' something is from a video - wide angle lenses distort perceptions of distance when viewing the video.

Its simple. Report it. I know the police are busy, I know it happens a lot, but without our involvement certain people end up under the radar. Its the same as any other antisocial or dangerous behaviour

If I reported every single such encounter I'd probably not have time to do much else.
I've only been out once in the car today (taking the cat to the vets, so had to be the car) and if im honest I saw more cyclists being twots for than car drivers, including a nice chap cycling up the wrong side of the road. Should I report them too?
And don't give me that old "cyclists kill far less people" chestnut, as it's no justification for behaving like a tool. We seem to want other road users to treat us with courtesy and respect, but as a user group seem reluctant to address our own shortcomings. Well, perhaps I will now report every single bit of car driving silliness I see, but in the interests of balance and fairness I shall now sign up to a car forum and urge their members to report every bit of cycling stupidity they come across.
We love in an imperfect world, when in the arena of road users everyone seems to simply want to blame everyone else instead of actually doing something.

I yelled at cyclist for riding on the wrong side of the road today. Didn't yell at any cars.

They just have to get there before you do because they pay road tax and you don't!

The driver misjudged it, I cannot see what all the fuss is about.
No doubt you will find some other footage to post on here. But to be truthful were not interested. This type of driving goes on all over the World all the time, its just normal and not interesting to watch.

Remember, if you're really, really not interested in footage of poor driving, make sure you post at least twice (certainly not once) on a thread that contains a link to a dodgy overtake, left hook, sudden u-turn etc to make sure the thread trends on CC,

Would it have pissed me off? hell yeah would I have probably made a friendly hand gesture whilst shouting something in relation to their constant habit of self gratification .
Would I report it to the Police hell no. Does anyone really think that a copper reviewing this bit of driving will give two figs? Bad driving yes but really cannot believe that there is an actionable offence that the plod will take action on or even visit them. The more a single person keeps reporting these the less likely something will get done when they have a genuine life threatening grievance.
