It will be in his bedroom behind the washing pile.

I don't understand it, as I wasn't like this at 14. My dad was a right battle axe until kid 3 and 4 arrived. Guess who was No1 child.... !
I don't understand it either! I keep telling him I don't understand it. He just shrugs his shoulders vaguely!
Still. Who am I to talk? I've just admitted to forgetting where I left my dog!

If you'd not tied the dog up, it could have walked home on its own. How's a bike going to manage to get home on its own?

When I was ten, I took my dog to the shop, bought some sweets and came home. About three hours later a knock on the door. Someone had brought the dog home, I'd left her tied up to the lamp post outside the shop!
Did something similar with my car.
Drove to school to pick up the kids. Collected my two plus two of their friends and walked home as I usually did. Got home and for about 30 seconds thought my car had been robbed off the drive before remembering.
Had to trail 4 kids back up to school through all the other mums walking home to go and get it - feeling like a numpty!

Oh yes, I've come home without the car before too, now you mention it!
