It happens to me sometimes, I assume I must inadvertently touch the ignore button.
If you click on the ignored thread and scroll to the bottom there is a button that says something to the effect of 'read contents'. Works for me, hope it does for you.

@gavroche if you go into the tread, the ignore button top right of the opening post, toggles on or off.

But remains invisible/out of sight until you Unignore the thread.

Bottom of the page will have "Show Ignored Content" at the base of the page. You then have the choice of "toggling the button" mentioned.
