Now the council plan on removing it, as part of a road widening scheme, they can't actually do.
Shopping center nearest me, is built near to the cycle path, but it's about a half mile or so trip to get there from the path. But once you are there, lots of things to choose from. Groceries, casino, movie theater, about 4 or 5 restaurants, clinic, fitness center, pet supplies, pharmacy. Two or three shopping centers built like that in town(s) here. Mostly in Normal, where the city planners, Economic Development Council, and town council seem to be pretty good at integrating development, and wanting improvements from developers.
