I was looking at this http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/whats-everyone-buying-on-payday.157039/page-3 when i saw Dan B's wonderful contraption and thought how nice it'd be to have a ride on it! Then i realised as usual that it'd be pointless having such a thing around these parts because of the hills. I've cycled through many towns and villages around west Lancashire seeing many folk on old fixed gear or three speed bikes, some with wicker shopping baskets on the front
, but where i live the hills would make such pleasant cycling almost impossible. So i've always had a 10 speed upwards drop handled road bike to get around.
Does the landscape of where you live determine what kind of bike you ride?
