Tonight I shall be the British version of Sir Les Patterson at the Anglo-German club (which meets in a Greek restaurant because the leading light is an anglophile Greek who speaks awful English). Three quarters of them had never heard of port! So I bought a bottle of Taylors LBV at Heathrow on Saturday and shall make them all toast the Queen tonight.

It got me wondering what the rest of you would get up to in order to colour a little bit of the map pink again?

One of the ladies tonight announced that she is pregnant and talked about choosing names. I suggested Winston and she gave me a funny look, so I said, "Well it's got to be better than Adolf" and she gave me an even funnier look.
