There's a question begging for a poll if ever there was one...
Yes that's a good idea!
Should Accy Cyclist Go Back To Window Cleaning Or Find Something Else, And What Else Could He Do?

Well let's keep our fingers crossed that you're not out of the game for too long mate.Yes it is. It's not nice especially when the weather's fine and i'm thinking i could be out there working. Not just the money but keeping my round going I hope my customers don't act like some of those who've approached me in the past! "Can you do my windows for me?,i haven't seen my window cleaner for ages" they'd say. I'd point out that he might be ill or on holiday but this doesn't enter their minds. You're soon forgotten these days!![]()
You could get a job with GallupYes that's a good idea!

There is still quite a few loyal people about. Can you not let most of them know the score?
Could you not cover a wider area? Take on a few window cleaners, and act like a kind of agent? Take a split of lots, and do it from an office (your house) rather than out in the cold, up a ladder?

GWS Accy.Théy arèn't going to operate. Théy say it's the ball thàt goes in the soçket. They could pin it but it might not hold. They're sending me home next week with crutches and orders to not to cycle for 2 months.(sad face)
I don't know if i'll be going back to window cleaning again. I used to think it was "easy money", picking up say 75 quid for 5 or 6 hours work, but that 75 quid takes a lot longer to earn these days. Those safe, ground level, 10 quid an hour boring clock watching jobs seem to be more appealing. No pressure, holiday pay, sick pay, health and safety rights etc etc. The question is is it safe for a one eyed, restricted right shoulder movement and now dodgy hipped window cleaner to be climbing ladders and taking risks anymore?
..........I suddenly found that my desk job was not so bad after all. That'd mean becoming a "businessman" and i'm not into that.
