Important to realise the driver was the victim in all this.

GOOD!

Scary when you realise the passenger in the car spotted AC and shouted and not the driver. I wonder what he was looking at?

I see what you mean, but their wording makes it read to me like: Oh, the poor driver, all he did was hit one of those pesky, nuisance cyclists, and now, tragically, he can't even afford to insure his car, the poor, poor driver.

Sorry, i meant to write this is what i wanted though. I wasn't expecting him to be banned as the copper said my injuries weren't severe enough to sway the magistrates. So i hoped for his insurance to go so high that he couldn't afford it. It may sound petty to some but he continued to drive like a madman long after he hit me.. One more mad driver off the road!

At least you're safe and in one piece. What an idiot!
All too often motorists turn left straight across you. Given they have just overtaken you then how do they not realise you are there? We are invisible.

Poor man with his low paid job and no car. At least he can't hit anyone else.
