My 15 month old nephew was sitting on my lap and I made the foolish mistake of giving him my helmet when he was curious ...

I think the resulting blow has broken my nose.

So I'm making it official.. Helmets are dangerous!

PS I'm not actually joking. The pain was so bad I wasn't sure at first where he had actually connected. Even my front teeth hurt, but now two days later I have a dark purple bruise on the end of my nose,a blood shot eye (no need for Halloween make up then) and the cartilage part of my nose is extremely painful to touch (can that bit actually break???) .

Clearly he's a good aim.

Ouch, nothing more to say.

Apparently I gave my dad a black eye at a young age with a well aimed left hook with a toy car.

You will have a chance to get even later, his damage may be physical, once he's a teenager your chances to inflict psychological damage will be numerous ^_^

Ooh. Ouch!:B)

I hope it's not actually broken and that you'll heal soon.

Yes did the helmet break?! If it did it wasn't fit for purpose some on here would say!
:stop: Treading on thin ice there.;)

I read of some woman who was suing her nephew after an over enthusiastic 8 year old hug caused her to fall and break her wrist, leaving her, she said, unable to even hold an hors d'oeuvre tray.

I know where I'd put the hors d'oeuvre tray so it wouldn't wobble.
