France, Switzerland, Germany and Austria beckon. I'll be boarding the European Bike Express in six hours.

I'm fully ballasted with Greenwoods of Boroughbridge's finest pies.

I haven't a clue where I'll be staying apart from the first and last days of the tour. Every day will have a surprise ending

First gloat of the hols. Jason the courier on the bike express laid on extra pie for me- what a guy! There's sort of pie on sale - pate en croute but I have shunnned it. Currently in Dole sipping ice cold beer after pootling in temperatures in the low thirties. My riding tuxedoes are attracting lots of attention. Life is good.
