I'm up the Congo!

Arrived in Kinshasa, DRC, last night from Nigeria. Poeple had told me all kinds of horror stories about the airport (as they do) but everything went smoothly, people were courteous and helpful and the only surprise was the amazing NOISE! Apart from the Spanish, I've never know a people make so much noise, the shouting and general wahalla was incredible compared with other African countries, where people tend to be pretty reserved.

This was my view this morning: the Congo is wiiiide!
