Waiting for the turbo to kick in...

For a different little destination, if you're in the area and feel like cycling through tanks and a deserted military training village, the roads to imber have been opened this weekend.

Rumour has it that they are accessible by road bike from Warminster and mrs P has just agreed to come out and give the new wheels I put on her bike a spin today :hyper:

No cafe unfortunately, but if you time it right, I might be there with the hexy stove on and will shout you a brew.

Doh.. I'm the wrong end of the country.....
Don't the military have to open it occasionally as it's still a public road?

I think its an MOD road but when they forced the abandonment of the village, they made an agreement not to demolish the church there as there are graves and its a church I suppose.

So I think they have to open it to grant access to the church on religious festivals.
